For the majority of my life I was applauded for working hard and proving my worth via my academic grades, titles, degrees, awards, licensure, and certifications. As I moved into the role of a mental health therapist and healer, I was then applauded for being an overgiver, for always having the right thing to say, for holding space for others even when I was unwell, tired, and struggling to hold space for myself. Two years ago, I was burned out, sick, and trying to figure out how I could rest while also needing money to survive. I found myself in the conundrum of divesting from the western mental health system while gaining a lot of information about healing. Soon I quickly realized how imbalanced I was, and my body was suffering as a result. I struggled to embody the knowledge and wisdom that I was learning at the time.

It wasn’t until I decided to invest and commit to my healing that I began to change. I enrolled in an Elevate Mastermind focused on ancestral healing and business coaching with my friend and coach Ash Johns. I hired a somatic therapist to support me with healing the root cause of trauma I had experienced. I began my journey into Feminine Embodiment through a Coaching Program out of the School of Embodied Arts in Australia hosted by the lovely Jenna Ward. These programs allowed me to flourish with other women where I learned what it truly meant to take up space, and step into my inner authority and truth. In the feminine embodiment coaching program, I learned how to recenter the feminine to bring forth my inner goddess and emerge through empowered leadership. All of these experiences led me to create my own Integrative Woman Mastermind. I’m taking the lessons that I learned through those experiences, alongside two years of lived experience of embodying and initiating into that deeper wisdom, to offer you the gems that I gained.

In a westernized society, we are often told that we must conform to the structure of hierarchy, hyper individualism, and exploit our labor and bodies as a commodity under patriarchy and capitalism. Many systems of oppression have caused us to become disconnected and isolated from ourselves and one another. Contrary to our hyper-individualistic culture, we actually thrive in villages and communities. You do not have to heal in isolation, and doing everything alone can only take you so far. This program is for those who want to go deeper, expand, and grow all at the same time.

Healing and integration in a village allows us to address the wounds that we have inherited so that we can embrace the vulnerability of being seen, the courage of taking up space, and the power of our voice in a safe and affirming space. Everytime a woman opens her heart to share her light throughout the village, it awakens and ignites the light within another woman by inviting her to unfurl to her own illumination.
